About the accountancy firm
Pentagon Talent are excited to be partnering with one of the fastest growing accountancy firms in Sussex to recruit for an excellent Experienced Payroll Assistant for their office in Brighton or Hove. Our client provide a full range of services including but not limited too; accounting, advisory, payroll, taxation, auditing and financial planning for a variety of clients and sole-traders.
Duties and responsibilities
As a Payroll Assistant you will be carrying out a range of duties and responsibilities including but not limited to;
- Supporting the Payroll Manager and team members when required.
- Creating and maintaining payroll records.
- Managing the full payroll process from start to finish.
- Processing P45s.
- Liaising with clients from a variety of different industries and advising on any queries in a professional manner.
- Managing client pension schemes via a multiple of pension providers.
Qualifications and skills required
In order succeed as a Payroll Assistant you must have worked in a payroll position ideally within a bureau or practice firm. You must have excellent communication skills and be a competent Excel user.
