Meet the team
Established in 2011, our team specialises in the recruitment of accountancy and finance professionals into private sector professional services organisations in London and the home counties. These organisations include both leading law firms and accountancy practices. Collectively we have 15 years of combined recruitment experience in this sector.
Interestingly, each of us was born in a different country. This multiculturalism has instilled a greater sense of understanding and empathy which translates directly into how we deal with our clients and candidates.
Sam Vorley
Senior Manager
Since joining Morgan Hunt in 2017 following a successful career within the legal sector, Sam heads up Pentagon Talent, managing the team across both the Legal & Accountancy Practice market. Sam’s particularly specialism is the recruitment of senior finance professionals specifically in the legal sector and he has built a strong reputation amongst a large proportion of the Top 200 UK law firms and Top 100 US law firms based in the UK.
Sam recruits for global law firms across the UK and specialises in positions covering financial leadership & control, financial change & development, commercial finance, tax & partnership accounting, operational finance management & finance systems.
On the weekend, Sam enjoys spending down time with family and friends as well as trying out new restaurants and playing & watching football.
Rebekah Rand
Senior Manager
Rebekah heads up the public practice team after a successful six years specialising in public practice recruitment and managing the south-east team at a large recruitment agency. Rebekah works closely with a variety of clients ranging from top ten and mid-tier to boutique firms.
Rebekah has built strong relationships across the South-East, London and surrounding areas with a large proportion of Internal Recruiters, HR and Partners in accountancy firms. Rebekah recruits for a range of specialist roles including but not limited to, audit, tax, VAT, payroll, accounts, outsourcing and bookkeeping.
Oliver Hiteshi
Consultant
After 7 years operating within the Finance sector for a FTSE 100 company; firstly as a Credit Controller and for the last 3 years of my career as a Credit Control Supervisor, I decided to make the decisive change of redirecting my career and exploring the recruitment industry.
With a wealth of insight and experience in my previous role, I was then employed at Morgan Hunt as a Recruitment Consultant at the backend of August 2022, focusing on recruiting in all areas of legal finance. This ranges from more junior roles, scoping all the way up to senior level placements across England.
A die hard football fan and a keen passion for all sports as a whole, I spend most of my time either watching or playing sport.
Daniel Hakutangwi
Senior Consultant
Daniel is our Senior Consultant in the Public Practice market, with several years of experience in recruitment. He works closely with a range of accountancy firms ranging from the Big 4, numerous mid-tier organisations and a large number of boutique firms across London and the Home Counties.
Daniel is a specialist in placing Accounting, Audit and Tax professionals from juniors to Directors and Partners. He is well versed in understanding the recruitment needs of each individual firm he works with, partnering with them throughout the recruitment process. Daniel is also well placed in assisting individuals looking to make their next move in the accountancy field with his extensive network of clients and contacts. Daniel graduated with a BA in History from the University of Hull with a 2.1.
David Phan
Senior Consultant
David leads our Risk & Compliance, Financial Crime proposition working with Legal compliance professionals and Solicitors. He works closely with the Top UK & US Firms across London and their regional offices. David has first line exposure within Compliance within Financial Services before moving into Legal & Compliance recruitment over 10 years ago.
Outside of work, David has a passion for cooking and dining out. He also enjoys watching football, cricket, darts and snooker as well as playing.
Zach Hellel
Associate Consultant
Zach is one of our leading resourcers within our public practice team; he always puts his candidates first and is keen to support, train and advise and help them find the best opportunity. He networks with accounting, outsourcing, payroll, audit and tax professionals across London, Sussex, Kent and the surrounding areas.
Not only a skilled resourcer but also an entrepreneur, Zach also owns his own clothing company. On top of this Zach is also an avid rugby fan committing to a Harlequins season ticket. COYQ!
